Fulham Match Preview

In 2023/24, Fulham achieved a rare double over West Ham United and they have the chance to do the same tonight when the teams meet again at Craven Cottage.

The Hammers have had three days to erase Saturday’s 5-2 defeat to current Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield from their minds and after two recent home games, they will hope to replicate their start to February and earn only a fourth success on the road.

This is a ground where the East Londoners usually pick up points and having not won here since April 2023, when David Moyes was still at the helm, they will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a run of two draws and a defeat.

Results certainly went in favour of Nuno Espírito Santo’s men over the weekend and should his team bounce back from defeat to Arne Slot’s men to claim all three points and results once again go their way, then they will finally jump clear of the relegation zone for at least eleven days.

The visitors will be the fresher of the two teams going into the game as they have had one extra day’s preparation. Having said that though, Marco Silva’s men are full of confidence after building on becoming the first top-flight team to win at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light this season by then beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Sunday.

Back on 28 January, Adama Traoré joined West Ham from Fulham and given that the winger will know how his former club play, this seems like the ideal time for Espírito Santo to include him from the start.

The match kicks off at the unusual time of 7:30pm and live coverage will be screened by TNT Sports from 7pm. The referee is Matt Donohue.
