Coaching Setup Reshuffled Again

West Ham United announced earlier today that Paco Jémez has left the club and that decision prompted Nuno Espírito Santo to swiftly turn to Rui Pedro Silva for a sixth time.

Confirmation of this change has also led to other alterations within the club. Steve Potts, Gerard Prenderville, Billy Lepine, Rui Barbosa and Jordan Smith will remain with the first-team, while Mark Robson will return to his previous role as Development Squad Head-Coach.

Therefore, Greg Lincoln will turn back to the role he assumed before succeeding Robson who was promoted, along with Potts, Prenderville and Lepine to join Espírito Santo when he arrived at the club back on 27 September.

Even before the former Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest boss had reiterated his desire to stay and help the club win promotion back to the Premier League after being relegated on the final day of the season, the upheaval had started but I’m sure that most of the ever-loyal fan base weren’t expecting this much!!!

Since David Sullivan and Karren Brady announced they were stepping down from their roles, Daniel Křetínský and Vanessa Gold have taken over, whilst just two days ago, it was made public that Nils Koppen has been appointed as the new Technical Director.

With Keiber Lamadrid having been the only player to be signed so far this summer, more arrivals are to be expected before the 2026/27 season gets underway with the Carabao Cup first-round tie at home to Portsmouth on 8 August and as soon as anything does happen, this site will provide the latest details.
