Wolves Await In Carabao Cup

When they entered the Carabao Cup last season, West Ham United faced an all Premier League tie against AFC Bournemouth. They face another top-flight side this time around when their campaign begins in the week beginning 25 August, and may have to travel to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Graham Potter suffered defeat in the Black Country on their last visit to play Vitor Pereira’s side back in April and he will certainly be hoping for a better outcome this time around.

The Irons actually came up against Wolves three times last but were only triumphant on one occasion when Julen Lopetegui -a familiar face to both these sides in the past, helped his Hammers’ side to a 2-1 victory in Stratford.
