Transfer Activity Gets Going Early

After it was made public back on May 9 that Łukasz Fabiański, Vladimír Coufal, Aaron Cresswell and Danny Ings would not be offered new contracts once their current deals come to an end on June 30, it has been confirmed today that youngster Kamarai Swyer will follow the quartet out of West Ham United.

The summer transfer window does not open for another two days but it has been announced early that the 22-year-old is joining Sky Bet League One outfit Northampton Town.

Former Hammers first-team coach Kevin Nolan is soon to begin his first full season in charge at Sixfields and knows all about Swyer’s qualities so has moved quickly to identify him as one that he would like to be reunited with.

Although West Ham Head-Coach Graham Potter is well-renowned for developing youngsters, it appears that this particular player is not in the plans of the former Swansea City and Chelsea boss.

The East London club have not yet issued a list of players who are set to be retained but as soon as this is available, together with further news concerning transfer movement both in and out of Stratford, then this site will provide the very latest updates.
