Second Wycombe Loan Spell For Kodua
After youngsters Callum Marshall and Levi Laing both confirmed temporary moves out of West Ham United last month, news emerged earlier today that Gideon Kodua has signed a two-year contract extension while also agreeing a second season-long loan spell at Sky Bet League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers.
Kodua initially joined the Chairboys in January after Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield was impressed by the 19-year-old during an EFL Trophy match, as West Ham’s Development Squad were defeated by his side on their way to the final at Wembley, where they eventually lost to fellow League One club Peterborough United.
The attacking midfielder follows teammate Marshall, as well as former player Connor Coventry in making a move away from Stratford, while also penning a new deal at the club.
With seven days left in the summer window, more players could yet come into, or indeed leave East London. As soon as any more deals are confirmed, this site will provide the latest details.
