First Youngster Moves In At West Ham

Nine days after the capture of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, West Ham United have confirmed another signing, as Mohamadou Kanté has arrived in Stratford this morning. The Hammers’ hierarchy, along with Head-Coach Julen Lopetegui, have identified the 18-year-old as a prospect for the future and the East London club have agreed to loan him back to Paris FC for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The French international midfielder has signed a five-year contract and news of the transfer has only been known since Wednesday after the two clubs had opened talks.

Whilst at the Ligue 2 outfit, he was a regular in their academy setup and once he returns to Stratford in May, he will do the same at West Ham as he looks to eventually make the step up to the first-team.

With the transfer window closing on August 30, there could yet be more movement both in and out of the club. As soon as anything is confirmed, this site will as always let its readers know.
