Kehrer Is First Summer Departure
Before the 2023/24 Premier League season has even ended, it has been confirmed today that defender Thilo Kehrer has left West Ham United and will join French club AS Monaco on a permanent basis.
There was always an option for the Ligue 1 side to make the deal permanent after it was confirmed their an initial loan move was eventually finalised back on January 8.
After Nayef Aguerd picked up an injury in a pre-season friendly against Glasgow Rangers in 2022, the Hammers signed Kehrer as cover to bolster the defensive options for David Moyes in the Moroccan’s absence.
It is undoubtedly going to be a busy summer with big changes happening in Stratford. When the transfer window opens for business in a few weeks, as soon as anything is confirmed, this site will provide all the latest details.
