Phillips Is Finally A Hammer
In the last few seasons, it has taken West Ham United time to bring in new signings and that has once again proved to be the case so far this time around. However, it has finally been confirmed that Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips has become their first signing of the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has signed on loan until the end of the season but talks will take place over a permanent move in the summer.
The Irons were in the running to sign Phillips in July 2022 before the Citizens won the race to acquire his services from boyhood club Leeds United.
The player will have plenty of time to train with his new teammates and he could even the in contention for his debut when AFC Bournemouth are the visitors to Stratford on Thursday night.
It is likely that more business will be done in East London before the window closes and as soon as it is, you’ll hear about it via this site first.
