Second Coach On The Move
West Ham United will have a new look to the backroom staff for the upcoming Premier League season, as it was announced earlier today that Paul Nevin has now left the club.
Manager David Moyes is already on the lookout for Mark Warburton’s replacement after it was announced on June 15 that he wanted to pursue other managerial opportunities. This means that there is now further work for Moyes to do, as he needs to identify a replacement for Nevin as well.
Moyes selected Nevin to be part of his coaching team when the former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss started his second spell with the Hammers in December 2019. Nevin has helped the club avoid relegation, reach a European semi-final and win a European trophy during his three and a half-year stint in the position.
This is the second year in succession that Moyes has had to make changes to his staff, following the departure of Stuart Pearce at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Who will replace Nevin? As soon as an appointment is made, it will be confirmed here as usual.
