Longelo Makes Permanent Birmingham Switch

It’s been the transfer window for youngsters to leave West Ham United. The last deal to be done in the month saw Emmanuel Longelo leave East London and join Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City on a permanent contract.

Following the departures of Pierre Ekwah Elimby and Will Greenidge last week, together with the recent exit of Harrison Ashby on Deadline Day, the Irons are obviously keen for Longelo to further his career and get more first-team football.

Blues Head-Coach John Eustace has obviously been impressed enough with the 22-year-old to turn the player’s initial loan permanent after such a short time.

Longelo has already made sixteen appearances for the club and will hope to feature again in Saturday’s game away at Swansea City.
