Two Leave on Loan

After seeing Nathan Trott leave West Ham United on a temporary basis last weekend, another pair of youngsters have been allowed to move in a bid to get experience of first-team football.

It has been announced today that both Ademipo Odubeko and Dan Chesters have left on season-long loan deals with Odubeko joining newly-promoted Sky Bet League One club Port Vale, while Chesters has arrived at Colchester United in League Two.

Both players have had experience with the first-team squad in recent years, with Chesters being named on the bench for the first-leg of the club’s UEFA Europa Conference play-off tie against Danish outfit Viborg FF in Stratford last Thursday.

Going on loan is a familiar move for Odubeko, who has previously spent time with both Huddersfield Town and Doncaster Rovers, while for Chesters, it’s his first venture away from East London.

With six days left before the summer transfer window closes, there are more deals in the pipeline for the Irons. As always, as soon as anything is confirmed, this site will have all the very latest.
