Following the departure of youngster Ajibola Alese from West Ham United last month, it has been announced that another of the Development Squad has now left the club as goalkeeper Jacob Knightsbridge has joined Southern League Premier Division South side Harrow Borough on a season-long loan.
Knightsbridge only signed his first professional contract with the Hammers this summer and now, it is believed that he will benefit from playing first-team football.
He was Kevin Keen’s first-choice stopper last season and he helped the East Londoners to a dramatic 4-3 win against Crystal Palace in the recent semi-final of the Premier League Next Gen Cup competition. It was a victory that ultimately saw them lift the trophy.
Further news of any more happenings in Stratford will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
