Burnley Match Preview

After another terrific night in Europe on Thursday, West Ham United are now faced with the task of trying to beat Burnley when the Clarets travel to Stratford this afternoon.

The Hammers remain in sixth place in the Premier League table on fifty one points, following their 2-0 defeat at newly-promoted Brentford seven days ago.

David Moyes achieved his first ever double over today’s visitors last season and will be looking for a third success over them here.

Whilst the visitors will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 away defeat at Norwich City, they will have to do it with caretaker manager Mike Jackson in charge, following the news that Sean Dyche had left his post on Friday morning.

Aaron Cresswell is in line to return after his suspension, while Ben Johnson looks likely to retain his place, as once again he fills in for the injured Kurt Zouma.

The match is a 2:15pm kick-off and the referee is Paul Tierney.
