Manchester United Match Preview
West Ham United went unbeaten in their first four games of a top-flight campaign for the first time since 1999 last Saturday when they drew 0-0 at Southampton. Now they face their toughest test of the campaign so far as they come up against Manchester United in the first of two meetings between the clubs this week.
Both teams are unbeaten so far this season and neither team will want to lose that record here.
This week saw both teams in European action and the Hammers will be looking to build on their success over Dinamo Zagreb in their UEFA Europa League opening group stage match on Thursday night but they will be wary of a backlash from Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side as they lost to Swiss outfit Young Boys on Tuesday night.
With Michail Antonio suspended for this game, Andriy Yarmolenko is likely to take his place with Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson, Vladimír Coufal, Saïd Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen looking likely to regain their places.
If Moyes does decide to make changes, then Nikola Vlašić could make his full home debut, while Kurt Zouma and Alex Král could feature for the first time in the top-flight since joining the club on Deadline Day.
The match is a 2pm kick-off with live coverage being screened by Sky Sports from 1pm. The referee is Martin Atkinson.
