Trott Set for French Adventure

West Ham United have already signed a number of youngsters since the summer transfer window opened on June 9 and it has been confirmed that 22-year-old goalkeeper Nathan Trott has left the club to join French Ligue 2 side AS Nancy Lorraine on a loan deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Last month, Hammers’ boss David Moyes allowed fellow young stopper Joseph Anang to join Sky Bet League Two side Stevenage on similar terms leaving the Scotsman currently only having Łukasz Fabiański, Darren Randolph and David Martin available for selection.

Prior to making his debut for the Irons in the FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Sky Bet League One side Doncaster Rovers earlier this year, Trott, who originates from Bermuda, spent time on loan at Sky Bet League One outfit AFC Wimbledon during the 2019/20 campaign.

There is still a very strong possibility that the Hammers will sign former Fulham loanee Alphonse Areola. Should that move materialise, this site will provide all the details.
