Holland Makes U’s Return

Shortly after confirming a season-long loan deal for French goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday afternoon, West Ham United announced young winger Nathan Holland would be leaving the club on loan for the whole of the 2021/22 campaign.

Holland will spend a second stint with Sky Bet League One outfit Oxford United having previously enjoyed time at the Kassam Stadium during the 2019/20 season.

Manager David Moyes included Holland as part of the squad that started West Ham’s pre-season preparations in Scotland but has decided that another spell away from East London would benefit the 23-year-old. Moyes believes it would give him further gametime as well as valuable first-team experience.

With a considerable amount of time left before the summer transfer window closes, this site will provide the latest details if and when more deals are finalised.
