West Ham Acquire Services of Ekwah Elimby

After it was announced last month that West Ham United had brought in 19-year-old Thierry Nevers, the Hammers have confirmed another arrival today, as French midfielder Pierre Ekwah Elimby has arrived from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal with the option to extend for a further twelve months.

News of this signing was first made public on Monday when both West Ham and Chelsea reached an agreement on a move that would see the player switch from West to East London.

The youngster, along with recent arrival Nevers, will go straight into the club’s Development Squad under the stewardship of Dimitri Halajko.

Ekwah Elimby’s arrival is a boost for the squad which will see a number of young players leave this summer, along with first-team defender Fabián Balbuena.

Details of further moves both in and out of Stratford will appear on this site as soon as they are available.
