Stevenage Move For Anang

After West Ham United goalkeeper David Martin signed a one-year contract extension in Stratford yesterday, Hammers’ boss David Moyes has today sanctioned a move for 21-year-old stopper Joseph Anang to join Sky Bet League Two side Stevenage on loan for the entirety of the 2021/22 campaign.

Senior figures in East London still see the Ghanaian as an integral part of the club’s future as he only signed an extension to his own deal last season. Nevertheless, they are hoping he has a successful campaign while with Alex Revell’s side.

With Anang having joined Stevenage in the hope of playing first-team football, it is likely that Nathan Trott will fill in for West Ham’s Development Squad in his absence.
