Hammers Continue to Build Young

They may only have acquired one first-team player since the summer transfer window opened earlier this month but West Ham United have today added to the signings of Thierry Nevers and Pierre Ekwah Elimby by securing the signature of 19-year-old Armstrong Oko-Flex from Scottish Premier League side Celtic on an initial two-year deal with an option for a further twelve months.

The player spent time on loan with the Hammers at the end of last season and the Republic of Ireland international obviously impressed enough to enable him to sign a permanent deal in East London.

Just like Nevers and Ekwah Elimby, Oko-Flex will start life at West Ham as part of Dimitri Halajko’s Development Squad in the hope that he can eventually make the step up to David Moyes’ first-team.

Details of further moves in and out of Stratford will be available here as soon as news emerges.
