Nevers Brought to Stratford

With the summer transfer window due to open on June 9, West Ham United have got straight down to business and today confirmed the news that 19-year-old Thierry Nevers will arrive in East London from Reading for an undisclosed fee.

The Berkshire born player has signed an initial three-year deal with the Hammers but does have the option to extend for a further year.

He will go straight into the club’s Development Squad in the hope that he will make a first-team appearance in the future.

Nathan Trott, Ademipo Odubeko, Ben Johnson and Frederik Alves were all involved in the senior team last season and Academy manager Ricky Martin is hoping that he can help Nevers succeed in order for him to step up in the coming years.

The attacker has already spent three years playing Development Squad football with the Royals and has notched up nine goals in twenty five appearances.

Further transfer news both in and out of East London will be reported by this site over the summer, as well as details of all the key games for the 2021/22 campaign when the Premier League fixture list is released on 16 June.
