Brighton and Hove Albion Match Preview

After the defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, West Ham United will look to get back to winning ways when they face Brighton and Hove Albion in Stratford this afternoon.

The Hammers were in the Sky Bet Championship the last time they tasted victory in this fixture. That day, they romped to a 6-0 success and now David Moyes’ side will be chasing their first ever victory over Graham Potter’s men in the Premier League.

The Seagulls currently occupy seventeenth place in the table and will be looking to get a positive result.

Albion go into the game off the back of a 1-1 home draw with Sheffield United a week ago will be the fresher of the two sides given that they have had one extra day to prepare.

David Moyes will have to decide whether to stick with the same team that were defeated by the Blues or make changes with Issa Diop looking to start his first game since dropping out of the side in September.

The match is a 2:15pm kick-off with live coverage being screened by Sky Sports from 2pm. The referee is Simon Hooper.
