Pearce Returns to West Ham Backroom Staff

It was revealed late on Monday night that West Ham United manager David Moyes had added to his coaching staff, as the Scotsman has reappointed Stuart Pearce as first-team Coach. He will work alongside Kevin Nolan and Paul Nevin who have also signed new long-term contracts with the club.

There was no previous indication that the former Hammers’ defender would be on his way back to Stratford but he has returned to the Irons for a second spell, having previously worked with Moyes and assistant manager Alan Irvine during the 2017/18 season.

Pearce will start work immediately with the East Londoners making the trip to Scotland for a pre-season training camp before the 2020/21 Premier League season gets underway on 12 September.

As always, further news regarding the latest goings-on at the club will be published here as soon as anything is announced.
