Hugill Seals Hammers Exit

After Albian Ajeti left the club eleven days ago, it has been confirmed that another player has today followed him in making the move out of West Ham United as striker Jordan Hugill has signed a three-year deal with Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old was signed by David Moyes and was one of only two permanent signings of his first spell in charge of the Hammers. Hugill arrived from Preston North End on deadline day in January 2018. The striker wasn’t able to get a single start whilst with the East Londoners but he did make three substitute appearances totaling twenty two minutes.

At the end of that season however, it was decided that Hugill was surplus to requirements in East London and was sent out for loan spells in the Sky Bet Championship, firstly with his hometown club Middlesbrough, before spending the entirety of last campaign on loan at Queens Park Rangers.
