Ajeti Becomes one of the Bhoys

It has finally been confirmed that West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti has made a move to the SPL to join current Champions Celtic. Although the fee is officially undisclosed, it is believed to be in the region of £5m.

It was thought that the Switzerland international would initially link up with Neil Lennon’s side on a season-long loan deal but it then became clear late on Wednesday night that senior figures at the Glasgow club had decided to make the move permanent after agreeing personal terms with the player. Consequently, he has signed a four-year contract.

Ajeti was brought to East London on deadline day last summer by then manager Manuel Pellegrini and although he was never handed a Premier League debut during his solitary campaign in Stratford, he did make twelve appearances for the Hammers.
